I’m sure the handlebars are the originals, I wouldn’t change them. Just saying though if you do want to go anywhere reasonably quickly you’ll need something to keep the wind blast off you. That’s true of the standard  UK bike with the lower handlebars as well, speeds above 80 give you a stiff neck!
