Wheels and newly fitted tyres back later today – yes I know – whimped out on fitting them myself !
That’s ONLY because it’s been over 40 years since I last did the job – and I did NOT want to mess up my newly powder coated rims !
All the spindles and furniture have been cleaned primed and painted so I can at least build up the wheels ready for fitting.
Very little to buy now – the rectifier looks suspect [ rusty ! ]and also the stanchions are borderline OK.
The Weber manifold will have to wait until I get back from my Saxony chill break [ 4th Sept ], when I hope to get the chassis rolling and have the tank and panels prepped ready for paint.
Looks like “Zinc Yellow” or the new BMW Mini pale yellow will get the nod.
