You knew biking’s glory days were over when Mechanic-ing them stopped being current and became Classic. The bikes were moving out of the racks at work and into sheds, to be briefly exposed to sunshine (only ever sunshine) on occasional Sundays so you could relive your rapidly fading youth by terrorising roundabouts. Nevertheless the Lonesome™ was still keeping quietly anonymous amongst the Elsies and 400/4’s only now the club is also starting to be noticed. Rock on Twinners.
