KaptainkwakKeymasterAs Michael’s Jeckyll N Hyde machine is under refurbishment and will end up just black instead of half black/half green I feel it can now only be known as one or the other. What name do you think it should retain?

KaptainkwakKeymasterAfter seeing her in the flesh I agree a very good name to suit a good looking bike that has just gone ‘Back in Black’

MichaelParticipantHi Lonesome Twins,
I move on with the “Back in Black”.
It is all about the upper front end.New head light holders, head light painted black, drilled holes to route the cable of the centralised speedometer through it.
Different upper triple tree(?) without ugly steering bar holders. Not needed anymore cause I use the Clip-Ons.
New black grips and very nice (but expensive) bar end flashlights already here.

KaptainkwakKeymasterMMM it is looking better. I might redo my CSR this year. The paint has not taken too well. It will be after the ACE Café run.

MichaelParticipantaaah, worked on the cockpit as well.
Not finished yet, but slim and everything will find it’s place:16th April 2015 at 8:56 pm #8278
KaptainkwakKeymasterLuggage is looking great. Fits the lines of the bike and hung quite low.
I’m quite intrigued to see exactly what you are creating for your cockpit. mmmm

ParticipantLooking totally brilliant. Just when we thought every possible motorcycle style niche had been filled, you manage to come up with the touring café racer. Superb!

MichaelParticipantThank you so much !
I will show more and detailed pics when progress is achieved.
BTW: There is some playing with words, at least in german language.
The german word for a side bag (singular and plural) is just “Koffer”, which means suitcase as well.
This bike is a “Caferacer”, as you can see.
With the side bags attached it is a “Kofferracer” 🙂Have fun !
