Participanti think its a g1, its a import from usa. thats why its on a v plate. it was running on tickover. son as i touched the throttle it would die unless it had a bit of choke. went to give the cardbs a good clean today, all going well untill i tried to take off the drain plug and the bowl broke.
the last owner had used araldite to stick it on. so iam in the #OOPS#. needing a bowl. i was hoping to try and get them re-jetted as i have pods and a 2-1 pipe. any ideas wrer i could get the bowl and jets from please19th June 2012 at 12:11 pm #8463
KaptainkwakKeymasterTaking a closer look i think you could well be right with G.
Im quite sure ive a spare bowl possibly even a pair. I will look for jets too.
If you want any carb or fuel line parts http://www.nrp-carbs.co.uk/ are the place i always use. They have the bits, are reasonably priced and do a superb postal service.
I will send you a pm for your address
