Hi Smiddl and welcome.
That’s a nice looking twin you have there. Not sure what model though as it has the look of a B1 or B2 with mag wheels. Do you know?
It is an import from US , 1978 Model , import document said B4 but other bits say B3 which would be correct for 1978. Been repainted since in UK hence paint job looks more like earlier models
Hi Smiddl,
what seat unit so you have on the bike?
Your right with your comments smiddl. It does look a nice paint job. Forks are B1/B2. Everything else is common or shouts B3. It doesn’t massively matter as long as your happy with her. If you check the specification page you will be able to check exactly what model frame and engine you have.
@JP – It looks like a standard seat base that’s been recovered. are you in need of a seat? If so which model of twin do you have?
Cheers
KK
Saw that one up for sale, single carb conversion….what does it go like?
Rides really well , starts super easy on kick or button , sits really happy at 75mph will do much more but best there .Have got dyno report for single carb set up and it is only 4-5 hp down on original spec power so all in all pretty good.Just getting all bits together to do double disc conversion .
Seat is original recover as Kaptainkwak says
Not anal about it being 100% original , just a good retro classic
Checked frame and engine , definitely a B3
Nice looking bike
What paint do you use on the exhaust- i havent had much luck on getting something that retains its colour
