    I have been on this earth for what seems like a long time. Until recently, just discovered crumpets. What a tasty treat! Truly a delicacy among the cake family. A remarkable invention surely to bring happiness to all who partake. My wife makes a wicked good McMuffin clone with a few twists of her own. I firmly believe if more people would just stop to smell (and eat) the crumpets, peace and tranquility would break out around the world. 🙂

    I, for one, are 100% for them.

    Crumpets with lashings of propper BUTTER, none of that tastes like Butter shite! cos it DON’T…oh yes Phil Spam (fried) of course is lush too !!…….
    …….EDIT,Ya can’t beat a good MUFFING, i’m not meaning the MUFFIN FROM THE CORNER SHOP either ha ha, soz i’m lowering the tone there…..excuse me i’m a Yorkshire Lass cant help it!!

    I can’t find a proper translation for crumpets.
    Pics at Google show a smaller, big one (which I don’t know) and larger, flat ones like Crepes.

    Well, if it is about the large flat ones, I go for that !
    Very popular here with Nutella (kind of chocolat cream) or powdered sugar and applecauce.

    I have to admit, that I haven’t seen or eaten a Crumpet in my live yet !

    Well, I have to go to Yorkshire to meet up with you and get invited to eat a Crumpet and have a brew 😉
