Not an expert on the turbo’s yet, but I intend to turbo a CD175 at some point this year after I have finished a couple of other projects I have going.

Broken Rod, Crank or Big end cap come undone, I think you can remove the sump and have a look inside but I would fear the worst 🙁

Made from standard bends, cut and welded(Carefully)ground back with a flapper wheel then painted with engine enamel, Cost about £30+ paint.

The Suzuki GT750J brake is a slightly cheaper option,Double sided Four leading shoe, I have one on my Moto Guzzi and one on my Honda K4 race bike.

Yes they are whale bones, on the West cliff over looking Whitby, It was quite busy and I had to wait ages until nobody was is the way before moving the bike in and getting the pic hence I didn’t get it lined up properly plus the sun was low so the bike was in shadow, always next year 😉

The MR2 is Supercharged!! Standard fitment in Japan on the MK1s, MK2s had Turbo.
It had among other things an “air conditioning” style electro magnetic clutch which was controlled by the ecu, Unless there was vacuum in the inlet manifold the S/C was switched off, as soon as vacuum started to fall the S/C was switched on and up to pressure before…[Read more] - Load More
