Hi ,I’m a new member been a biker for a long while but recently bought 1979 z750b to build a flattrack style custom.trying to buy some stainless spokes to re-lace the wheels. Does anyone know if the hubs are the same on all the 750 twins?

Hi Andy,
as long as we speak about the B models with spoked wheels, the hubs are all the same.
The LTDs and the CSRs have different hubs, e.g. drum brakes in the rear wheel.
LTDs have 48 spokes instead of 40 spokes with the Bs.
Have you seen the Tracker made by the Wrenchmonkees:

Hi Michael, yes it is a B model that’s great makes life a lot easier
Hi Andy,
I’ve found this in the B manual. No idea what the # sign means in this combination.
Numbers are for standard rims 1.85×19 front, 2.15Bx18 rear
front left and right, inner
#8 x #9 x 184,5 x 97°
front left and right, outer
#8 x #9 x 184,0 x 83,5°
rear left inner
#8 x #9 x 144,0 x 100,5°
rear right inner
#8 x #9 x 167,5 x 83°
rear left outer
#8 x #9 x 143,5 x 80°
rear right outer
#8 x #9 x 167,5 x 91°
Good luck !
Cheers, Michael
