BTW: Is there any regulation in the UK that says that this kind of change must be noted in the papers ?
Doing such a change in Germany, it will be necessary to have a “driving noise” measurement (passing by two microphones in 10 m distance to each other at full open throttle, starting with 50 km/h / 35 mph in second gear).
Price for that approx 300,- Euros.
Outcome unknown until you get the result, but you have to pay for it anyway ;-(
