Had my friend down on his Z 900 today, and I thought I’d give his side panels a go For me it’s a foregone conclusion and that’s the look I’m after, but will be interested in other members opinions

Interesting. I haven’t seen that tried before. How many lugs line up?

Some have fitted G model side panels for a different look. They fit on 3 lugs.

    I kinda like the 900 panels  . . .

I also have the G panels on mine. They look SO much better.   The stock twin side covers look like the unloved stepchild of Space 1999 and the original Battlestar Galactica.

    Thanks

    Hi Smiddl

The G panels are off the 1980 750 twin G model (see the specifications section). I believe that 3 of the pins line up and so they will fit straight on.

Funny how we all have different ideas. I think the G panels look rubbish. For me Kawasaki made a really handsome bike with the original B and didn’t improve it with the later versions.  Good job we don’t all think the same.
