another headlight needed ?

There is a halogen bulb available which fits the original light. It’s still not much better in wattage but maybe slightly brighter overall.

My 78 b2 has an original headlight,
but the bulb is a strange looking thing and not very bright, could anyone please advise if the lense / bulb holder can be swapped to something that takes a halogen bulb, or does the whole headlamp need to be changed.
I would like to keep it looking as original as possible.

I do have the headlight Phil dropped in for me which didn’t fit my earlier Z. Might fit the later one?
