you need to be careful where you chuck your tooling with a lathe running…
Picked up a little Drummond lathe, all mounted up, its all there although there are no back gears and it looks grotty but if you gave it a once over you could hand feed it for making spindles, spacers etc.
If you restored it and bought the gears on ebay it would be quite a nice little thing as it has provision for driving the apron for sliding cuts and screw cutting.
Its only small but it weighs a ton and the motor is a huge 1 1/2 hp thing that looks like it was made by Brunell.
?50 and I’ll chuck in a few bits of tooling. If not its going on ebay.

True enough dougy, I’ve left the chuck key in a couple of times and fired the lathe up, they do fly well….
