Hi guys,
doing some things on other Twins 🙂
The B2, 1977, I grabbed in the Netherlands was standing for at least 10 years.
The petcock is looking like that 🙁
Dismounted it and soaked it for a while.
Today I dismantled it.
Ok, everything is dirty inside.
But there are parts I doubt they are original.
Two small bolts, a spring (of a ballpoint?) and a modified petcock handle ?
What do you think ?
I think you Need to swap that for a real fuel tap. Can help if needed.?
I have cleaned and refurbished that petcock with a simple O-ring set which is offered for that.
Within several weeks or just some months it was that sticky and hard to operate, that I broke off the lever ;-(
Does anyone have a usable petcock for a B ?
Don’t mind if it is dirty, but lever must move easily 😉
Cheers, Michael
