    Hi Lonesome Twins,

I am currently working on a B2 project. It was a no-runner in bad condition.
My uncle Hubertus bought the bike and gave it to me to restore it.
It has to have clip-ons, recessed foot peds and has to look nice.

Well, this winter I’ve started with rebuilding another engine, a B3 one.
Nice paint, several new parts from CMSNL, a ported head, …
It isn’t ready yet and next big step are new wheels (already sent to rework them) with wide aluminium rims and tire sizes 110/80-18 and 130/80-18.

An engine cover is out of house to receive a high gloss polish. It’s shine has to compete with chromed covers ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Ok, some pics:

Under construction and will be finished (incl. TUV/MOT) no later than June 2019 !

    Cheers, Michael

That is looking very nice Michael. I must admit I struggle to take my eyes away from your garage setup. I am not jealous honestly.

Can’t wait to see the finished bike

New wheels arrived incl. new tires.
Fitted the perforated brake discs right away to have a glance on that.
    I’m very pleased ๐Ÿ˜‰

Currently working on the front brakes and front fork.
Calipers and holders completely dismantled, sand blasted (calipers outside only) and sprayed with VHT caliper paint in satin black. It’s not the finished look, just the first paint on bare metal.

Not an easy job but it will be done !

    Cheers, Michael

    Hi guys,

i’ve got the parts back from the painter ๐Ÿ˜‰

Fiddled the old front fork, clip-ons and front wheel in and pushed the “Hubertus” into daylight.

A lot of work left to do, but it is worth it ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Cheers, Michael

I am loving the look Michael but I must be honest. That seat does not look very bum friendly . . .
