well hello again
been away for a while,
work mainly
eventually got the bike running
rewired etc
not ridden it yet as I noticed a noise coming from the bottom end
took sump pan off
mmmm
ground paste in the pan
checked the shell bearings
scored
took engine out
grrrr
oil pump gasket blown
anyway
in the middle of sorting it
will post picts soon and progress
oh the z1000 bobber ltd
not finished yet either lol
its on my to do list

It seems you may have avoided a major engine problem there.

Have you checked all the bits down there and do you have replacement parts? If not I can probably help you out there. Just ask if you need anything.

Just for the record in case you don’t know I believe this one has a B1 engine and wiring.
