Fitted Boyer Brandsen Electronic Ignition to the Kz last spring.
What a heap of #OOPS#e.
They made one up specially for the 750 twin as they dont do a dedicated one for it.
Worked well for two weeks and then caused nothing but grief.
Sent back 3 times and each time told it was perfect.
Have finally given up and gone back to points.
So if you get offered boyer brandsen tell em to stick it.

Get the factory electronic ignition off the KZ440 or the 82-84 750 twin. Much better and more reliable than the aftermarket stuff. And installs in a matter of minutes.
