Can anybody let me know if the centre stand on the kz750b’s were all the same no matter what the year as found one available in states but a different year to mine?

The centre stand is the same on ALL B models. The stand on the K Belt drive models is different.
The part no for the centre stand is 34011-039. You will also need the following;
Shaft 34019-016
Spring 34023-017
Damper rubber 92075-285
Cotter pin (3 dia x 28 long)
