A new chrome platers is opening in Wakefield. They’ve done a test piece for me (for free, yay) it looks fab and took a day. Yesterday, they collected my exhausts, silencers and chain adjusters, said it’d cost
In spite of me telling the lad to go steady with the polishing mop, he tried to do a very thorough job and knackered the exhaust pipes. I’m patching them up this week and he’s going to have another go at them. It’s a good job I intend to use exhaust wrap on them. The other bits he did are very nice though and I’ll still use him (not on thin stuff). I’m looking at a new paint shop that’s started up in Normanton to do the tank, tail piece and side panels. Fingers crossed.
