I’m doing a top end rebuild on my CSR. Barrels and head. Should I use any sealant on the gaskets( Athena I think.)as a guarantee or put them in dry. Also what type of sealant should I use for the cam end plugs. Same question for the engine covers.
Cheers.
Hi Leema. I always put a thin film of silicone gasket on all gasket faces. Don’t put to much on as you don’t want pieces coming off and going into the engine. Get a clear silicone liquid gasket.
Thanks for the tip KK
