Has anyone found different carbs to work on a Bi.

Ive tried and tried to clean, put new kits, etc. Just added an electronic ignition and starts,idles and revs up like never before!! Under load they sputter, pop and sometimes show lean and others rich on plugs. ??? Tired of messing with them. Wish I could find a fit.

There are several reasons you could be getting these issue . To start I have a number of questions:

1. What model of twin do you have?
2. Are you using the air filter box?
3. Have you replaced the carb rubbers (both sides)
4. What exhaust do you have?

Sorry for the delay. It’s a 1976 KZ750 B

I have pods, have not replaced the rubbers but made certain they are not leaking.

Have factory headers with Harley Sportster mufflers.
