Why not keep both?
I too have a Wing.. a GL1200 Aspencade, but I still like to get the old Z750 out occasionally to put a smile on my face.
Lets face it, although the wing is reliable (kinda, I just rebuilt my engine), comfortable, keeps you dry etc, its really boring to ride 😀
trouble is
i have a gt185 and 125 suzuki
2 z400 the z750 and the goldwing
something has to go and the 750 isnt getting used done 6 miles since mot last novembe.
gonna have to let her go.and one of the 400s
GT185? That brings back memories 😀
5 of us rode to Belgium in 2006. over 500 miles (in 2 days) and we all got off and walked and not like John Wayne 😀
I’ll start the bidding at
sorry i dont think i have any change.
😆 😆 😆
Gt 185
just finished a four year restoration
down to bare metal, powder coated rebuilt, new seat, tank etc needs final polishing.
But OH!! that glorious smell of two stroke in the air. mmmmmmmmm!!!
however compared to the z750 its like riding a push bike and to the goldwing like sitting on a pencil strange it felt like a proper bike 36 years ago when i first rode one.
mind you 4 stone lighter then.
regards
🙂 🙂
Bought a Honda goldwing last november 2010
1981 Gl 1100 interstate starts first time every time reliable and comfortable dry in the wet, motors on well. happy to get on do 200 miles and get off still able to walk.
sorry to say Knocks the Z 750 into a cocked hat.
If only i had a cocked hat think of all the room I could save.
Anybody want to buy a KZ 750 that has had a lot spent on it.
Regards
Norman.

My first bike was a RD200 (1975) It seemed huge at the time…rode one last year, Ive been on bigger skateboards 😆 But like you say, the smell of 2 stroke 😀 or Essence of Esso as we used to call it 😎
