Hi Lonesometwins,
I had to find out that there is a larger leakage than initially recognised.
What do you think may be the root cause for that and how to fix it?

That’s an unlikely place for an oil leak.
I would guess its the crankcase halves leaking. An unusual occurrence but might resolve with nipping up the bolts as the faces are a machined pair so should be a ‘perfect’ match for each other assuming they are the original pair.
it looks to be roughly where the dowel sits, the one at the front that sits the crankcase halves directly together. if the y are not seated in their holes correctly, it could lead to this problem. try re-torqueing the crankcase bolts up again if its a new rebuild.
