I listen to most types of music but Rock is undoubtedly my main genre. My childhood hero was Alice Cooper

I think Ronnie James Dio (RIP) is one of the best rock singers in all the bands he has sung with

but Iron Maiden are my Ultimate band

9th June 2013 at 10:35 pm #9126KaptainkwakKeymasterMusic is a big part of my life. I have an awesome MP3 player which connects to the speaker with Bluetooth technology. It is brilliant when I go to rallies, camping and just out for the day. I have the MP3 player under the seat charging and the speaker where ever I want it and NO wires.
Happy Days
I also bought the D200 speaker. This is superb sound quality. The set up is also good for music in the garden etc

10th June 2013 at 9:12 pm #9134metalguruParticipantAC/DC, Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple & ZZ Top are favourites but I like most rock/blues…
Saw AC/DC live on Black Ice Tour a few years back and they were awesome – hope I get a chance to see them again!!10th June 2013 at 10:22 pm #9127KaptainkwakKeymasterGood choice there metalguru.
I’ve not seen AC/DC or Zep but i’ve seen Deep Purple and Sabbath, with Dio not Ozzy and on June 25th i’m going with tango to see ZZ Top at Manchester.
Bring it on!!!!!!!
11th June 2013 at 5:08 pm #9135metalguruParticipantWow! You lucky people – I was too slow to get tickets for ZZ at Manchester and by the time I realised they were playing, it was sold out! Any after market tickets available were at super inflated prices. Maybe next time…..
I’m sure they will be awesome – I watched one of their gigs on Sky recently. They were playing in their home state of Texas and it was absolutely fantastic!12th June 2013 at 7:52 pm #9132dougytParticipantI’m in the Rock camp too, Led Zep, ZZ Top, Meatloaf, Bon Jovi (Sorry, saw them at MK Bowl though) and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Heard Quo playing in the background during one of KK’s calls, and remembered liking them too.
I also like a lot of other genres though, from 80’s synth bands (Kraftwerk, Gary Numan etc.) through Ska (Madness, Specials and the Beat) to 50’s and 60’s rock n roll including the Who and Pink Floyd…
12th June 2013 at 9:00 pm #9136scavpanParticipantGood taste in music chaps, all the above including scorpions, early Aerosmith and early ZZ, but more into blues now like Government Mule, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Matt Scofield, King King, Nimmo Bros.
8th August 2013 at 9:33 am #9142keith52Participantgot to admit my taste started with the old rock ‘n roll, chuck berry eddie cochran and jerry lee.
