<p style=”text-align: right;”>Hi all, Andrew from Morecambe here, I’ve bought a 1976 kz750 B from DK. The swinging arm was seized. Managed to get the bolt out but had to get an engineering company to get the bushes out and sleeve. Is it possible to upgrade the arm to the later bearings?

You mean the needle-rollers that were introduced with the B3?. Kaptain K (Andy) will definitely know the answer. Message him directly?
Hi Blenky
I am not 100% sure that the B3/B4 needle rollers will fit straight into the B1/B2 swinging arm. However I do have a B1/B2 swinging arm with needle rollers fitted so yes it can be done. You will need the B3/B4 sleeve which I don’t have.
Cheers

Great thanks guys. I’ve got the bushes so will go with them. Just getting the frame and bits powder coated soon, tanks being stripped and prepped. Just on with the engine. The gludge in the sump was horrendous but no lumps of metal, so far so good.
