Hello everyone,
I’d like to introduce myself @ Lonesome Twin.
I’m Martin, living in Southern Germany. New old member has two meanings. First I’m 65 years old which is at least a little bit old. And second, years ago I was a member of a Britisch ‘Lonesome Twin’ forum which might have been a predecessor of your forum.
These are my bikes
Since 1980 and about 260.000 km I’m running the red Z 750 B3 which I bought new and since then have modified to the original in many parts. About 15 years ago I thought about adding a scrambler or Enduro for trips on gravel roads in Italy or France. I was thinking about an old Honda Africa Twin or an air cooled BMW 800 GS. But then instead me and a friend decided to built the Z 750 offroad twin on the left side that I’m runing on streets and dirt roads since 2008.
The mostly original Z 750 B3 on the right is still waiting to get on the street again. And when in 2007 I got the opportunity to buy the Yamaha TX 750 I wanted so much but couldn’t afford when I was 18 I just didn’t hesitate and bought it. Until now I’ve run about 25.000 km on the TX which has very similar characteristics but a more classic design compared to the Z 750 twin.

Hello Martin and a big welcome to our humble site. I believe I know you from the German Site and have briefly met you in Belgium in 2014. It is good to have you here.
I am impressed with your collection and modifications of 750 Twins. I have also followed some of you adventures on the German site with envy and respect.
Although we are quiet I hope you enjoy our website.
Cheers
KK
