Oil Filter Question

I got my CSR 750 not long ago and tried to replace the oil filter withe one I got from the local MC parts house.  H They gave me a HiFlow HF-401.  It was close to 3/4″ shorter than the one that was on the bike.  Any ideas?

I’ve fitted a HiFlow filter before and can’t remember it being any shorter. Not sure what it’s reference was but they do need to be the same length or your risking oil bypassing the filter

the HIFLO HF126 or the K+N KN-126 are the correct ones for the Twins.

PS: Pay attention to the flat washer between inside rubber ring of the oil filter and the spring.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the input.  I told the local supplier that the HF-401 was not correct.  I told him the HF-126 was correct.  He said he would forward the need for correction to HiFlo.

Note on the gasket also.
