sounds a good start or maybe small nuts, then maybe a tank sealer 😀
Does anyone know of a product for cleaning the inside of a petrol tank. My 1976 B1 has been standing for a few years and the tank is a bit rusty inside. I’m thinking of a few handfuls of gravel and plenty of shaking but there may be an easier method. Cheers John.
It’s been a few years ago but the one time I did it I just used some rust buster used for loosening nuts and bolts. I poured that in and then a lot of Daisy BB’s. Shook the heck out of it. Let it sit. Repeat. Over and over and over… I’ve seen on the net some guys make a kind of rotissiere set up. I wasn’t that smart back then.
