Home › Forums › General › Everything Else › TLC – what does it mean ?
Hi guys,
in some english language offers and descriptions the term “TLC” appears and I am sure it has something to do with maintainance, cleaning, replacing typical wear parts, etc.
What does TLC means ?
Cheers, Michael
You are right with your thoughts Michael.
It means;
Tender Love and Care
KK is of course right. Read between the lines though and it shouts THIS BIKE IS WAY MORE KNACKERED THAN I’M LETTING ON. You only buy something labelled as needing TLC if you’re desperate, broke, or needing another excuse to escape to the shed.
Thank you guys !
It never came into my mind that it means Tender Love and Care !
Thank you for the hint about bikes needing TLC 😉
Cheers, Michael
