In the process of restoring a Z750 twin and would like to go for twin disc. my bike is a 1980 B3 or B4? and both fork legs have mountings for callipers forward mounting. Would prefer rear mounting. What do i require. New to the Z750 twin and finding it a minefield re years and models.
Hope that some one can point me in the righr direction.
B1 & B2 are rear mounting but harder to find. Why do you want to change that?
Hi,
you may visit this page via Google Chrome and get it translated:
http://www.z750twin.de/twin_modelle.htm
Additional disc, caliper and splitter are needed.
Depending on your bikes setup, stuff of the KZ650 (four) models may match.
A B3 is from 1978, a B4 is from 1979.
There was no B-model but only the G-model built in 1980 !
Cheers, Michael
The early Z-1 900’s had the calipers in the rear. They are 36mm so they should bolt on. The discs and calipers are the same too.
