wot model/year is it?
its a KZ US models have a switch that cuts out the ignition unless the clutch is pulled shouldnt affect the kick start though.
hi guys
my Z 750 B wont fire using the kick. to start her with button i have to pull clutch lever in which has a wire conected … could this be the reason ? has the previous owner maybe done somthing with the wiring that would cancel out the kick. ???
thought i’d ask the experts on here first before tampering with her. cheers guys DOUGIE.
All the switch on the clutch does is break the starter motor solenoid circuit.
You can bypass the switch by tracing the wires back to under the tank and disconecting the terminals then bridging them with a link wire.
