Thanks Tango but I doubt very much that you will have the right one. It is possible you may have one I can adapt, I will look when I call tomorrow on my way back from the Hospital.
Cheers buddy

Got a few more jobs out the way today. Changed all the indicators for the rectangular LTD style ones. Changed the back light lens to a smoked version. Fitted a new horn.
I’ve also sprayed the nose cone black. Was a nightmare as I got a reaction in one spot. Rubbed it down, filled n sprayed it 4 times and still not perfect but it will do for now…[Read more]

The headlight is back on and most electrics re connected and working fine. I have tried the starter clutch and that appears to also be working fine.
I will need new indicator stems as I cannot fit standard Kawasaki ones anymore on the headlight bolts (they were originally on the bars but I moved them).
Most of the bike is now assembled. I need…[Read more]

It appears your right again Michael. I was of the understanding these were Y LTD wheels but on comparing they appear not to be. I am believing they are Kawasaki as the axles, sprocket carrier, brake hub and discs all fit from my CSR. I do not know which model.
I have modified things and got a setup I am happy with. I just want a second opinion…[Read more]

I think I might have found the reason as to why the wheel appears to be to the right hand side. I think it is to do with the speedo drive. I have used Y LTD forks, discs, calipers and wheel. I have used a CSR receiver and gear box assembly. It is my guess that they are different.
The part No’s for the CSR are
Receiver – 41064-1006
Gearbox assy -…[Read more] -

I am battling on today but I have to keep coming in to warm my hands as its a very cold day out there. So far I have managed to rebuild and fit the calipers, rebuild and fit the master cylinders and refit the switch gear. Everything is becoming a challenge though in its own right. The biggest one at the moment is the front wheel. For some reason…[Read more]

I understand Michael and I agree. It would be nice to meet your son but not in school time. What is his name? He is the next generation of twin lovers.

It is a bit of a secret lol. They are Cast wheels with sheet steel discs bolted on each side. Not my cup of tea (to much like a Hardley made it son) but as you say interestingly different
