I was not over happy with the rear light, because I had used a unit that mounts to the rear mudguard. There was a open gap around the tail light and the rear cowling.

So I have made a rubber fill in. Just to tidy things up a little, but I don’t think it will be very visible anyway. But I’m happier with it. 😉

I have also started to clean up the right hand engine case, I was hoping to swap this out for a spare polished one, But I decided the one that was on was in better condition physically! it was just going to take more polishing!

But it will be worth it in the end!

Well the weekend is nearly over. :o(
But I did manage to get out on the old girl and some further small adjustments made her a little better, I took a ride over to KK’s to view his mods, and he is going to be Bad Ass!

Hmmmm Must get this finished, at least I may have a seat lock sorted now. So its just battery and steering head bearings now and I think she will be good for MOT & Tax.

I have managed to sort my chaingaurd problem.

I have reshaped and re-drilled one I had in the garage, I think it was off an old GPX? to be honest I don’t care what it was off, As its on the Twin now! 😉

And although it is a little high? It looks the part,so im sticking with it! :pint:

So thats that, This has taken me just over 40 days to get her to this stage where id be happy to take her out, just some fine tuning to the running of her, and then Tax MOT & Insurance.

The bike is starting to come together But I wasn’t happy with the clocks? They were looking a little worn compared to the new paint on the bike,even though it isn’t perfect?,so I am stripping the clocks off and giving them a touch up to. 😉

Once the fuel tap was fitted and the choke cable routed.
I fitted the side panel to make sure everything is fitting properly with out getting snagged up anywhere. Im happy with the result!

I mounted the bracket on the front right hand side of the false air box. This would give me a nice arch for the cable to go over to the left hand side and around the carbs,then back in on itself to attach to the choke slide arm on the carbs.
