KeymasterThere has been a bit of progress with regards to the details of the 2014 2nd International meeting.
The venue is now looking like Weiswampach in Northern Luxemburg. It appears the dates will be a choice of 2. Either the weekend of Saturday 14th of June or weekend of Saturday 28th of June.
I have priced 2 different ferry journeys both for departure on Thursday and return on Monday. ALL sailings are overnight with cabin and the standard prices are as follows;
Hull to Rotterdam (297km – 2hrs 56mins from Weiswampach)
Depart 12th – £217
Depart 26th – £237Harwich to Hook of Holland (328km – 3hrs 14mins from Weiswampach)
Depart 12th – £124
Depart 26th – £138I am easy with any of the above. If you are wanting to come please say here and mention your preferences (if any) as to date or sailing from.
Cheers
KK

ParticipantHi Tango,
don’t worry 😉
I am working on fixing the date for the meeting.
Will place a new query on the german website to see when most people have time and opportunity to attend.

KeymasterThey do indeed. They know how to host and party.
There are 3 going from the Bolton area so Hull is probably the most sensible option for us. Edmund is hoping to join us as well possibly with a friend. It would probably make sense for him to sale from Harwich. As The Hook of Holland and Rotterdam are only twenty minutes away from each other it might make sense to start as 2 parties and meet up in Holland.
Once I know exactly who is coming and where from we can look at that in more detail.
