Nice ride out to Britain’s highest pub
22nd September 2016 at 9:55 pm #13664KaptainkwakKeymasterI’ve been there but was on my ZRX 🙁
Maybe that’s a future twin meet?
23rd September 2016 at 1:32 am #13669kayeParticipantI know this place too 🙂
It’s also know that this place was used for advertising Everest double glazing ha ha

In fact that was where they were filming the day he had a fall out with the other guy!!,

I used to go to hawes quite a bit and stop at hydro falls at the back of the pub, we have had some amazing banging parties out there……. All around layburn and Wensleydale absolutely stunning… Gotta do it again 🙂 and yes I have been down butter tubs pass it’s a great road and again I would say ‘stunning’ 🙂24th September 2016 at 10:07 pm #13665KaptainkwakKeymasterI too have done the butter tubs road. They are great roads for riding round there.
4th October 2016 at 9:19 pm #13673MikeonabikeParticipantNice day yesterday so I had a little ride up the coast to Whitby, Conditions were not very good with the sun in the wrong place then when I was at Whitby there was always people in the way!
6th October 2016 at 9:34 pm #13666KaptainkwakKeymasterThat 1st picture is very picturesque. Are they whale bones? I don’t remember those from when I went to Whitby
7th October 2016 at 9:23 pm #13674MikeonabikeParticipantYes they are whale bones, on the West cliff over looking Whitby, It was quite busy and I had to wait ages until nobody was is the way before moving the bike in and getting the pic hence I didn’t get it lined up properly plus the sun was low so the bike was in shadow, always next year 😉
7th October 2016 at 10:14 pm #13667KaptainkwakKeymasterThat is your challenge should you choose to accept.
Maybe we can get a gaggle of twins for that shot???

We will have to have a ride up there some day.
5th January 2017 at 11:18 am #13675MikeonabikeParticipantThat’s not Tan hill but never mind!!
The 24th June is the first Saturday after the longest day,
Where are we going to meet?
Tan hill has camping and sometimes live music and is quite close to me.
We could have a ride out Saturday evening before arriving back before last orders, Sunday we could head to “Hawes” or “Devils bridge” bikers meeting places for breakfast before departing for home. But may be a little bit far North for soft butt Southerners!!
Any other suggestions for a venue?
5th January 2017 at 8:32 pm #13671kayeParticipantI’m up for going if ya don’t mind me not being on a twin? 😥
