makes a change to have a good write up in the mag,mr gibson slagged them off in the past 🙁
Yes I’ve read this and also recognise a lot of the content lifted from other articles on the kwak. I find the comments about the comparative top speed amusing as on any bike of this era who would want to do over the ton for any length of time. I’ve ridden mine at 80+ with the screen fitted and it’s more than enough. See you at lotherton if you are going.
Hi dougyt,
Any chance of getting this article scanned and emailed to me, we don’t seem to have that mag out here .
Thanks
Gaz
i will check if i still have a copy 😀
I know I have it, I just need to find it among the “other” magazines lol.
Have you seen the article in this months Classic Motorcycle Mechanics ?
The article compares British twins of the 70’s with the Z750 twin we all know and love. It’s an interesting read with a side bar about an aftermarket fairing and panniers which made little difference to fuel consumption.
Worth buying the mag for the article.
race you to find it ya #OOPS# 😀
