Hi Lonesome Twins,

long time no post in this thread.
Maria is still happy with her Twin 😉

It was voted “Best LTD” at our Twin meeting in 2015.

Yesterday it passed the TÜV (due every second year)!
Konis, steelflex brake lines and a 100/90-19 front tire were registered.
The small windshield is registered as “optional”, so it is legal to ride with or without that windshield now.
Exhaust is a BSM 2-in-2 system with an “E”-number on it, so that was the easy part.

I have shortened the front fork travel by 4 cm. Looks better, is still working fine and sensitive and 140 mm travel should be plenty enough.
Such a change needs TÜV approval as well, but I haven’t told it and the engineer hasn’t found it 😉

Maria has to go to the registration office to grab new papers, were the technical changes as listed above are mentioned.

You have been a very busy man Michael especially getting your bikes ready for the season and your coming Birthday trip.

Due to major house decorating I sadly only got out to the garage on Saturday but did manage to fire up both my bikes.
