    Hello Tango,

    I’ve done it on a KZ1100ST sidecar!

Using building foam, rasp and sandpaper a model was born. I took it to a saddler. The back tail is made out of patent leather glossy (domina) black.

Maybe this is a way without metal works or glass fiber.

I have seen Arnd’s sidecar bike and the seat at our Summer party.
It is absolutely amasing to see and touch it.
It looks like a separate, glossy tail piece, but in fact it is part of the seat cover and it is as soft as the seat itself.

    Cheers, Michael

Well I have had the bike stripped down
And mocked up, But there is something just not right!
I have the words of one of our German friends ringing in my ears!
Don’t Cafe this bike! It is an early model!… Well I think I’m going to heed his words! As I have the piece of frame that was cut off that the rear light attached to. I am going to have it put back in and return the bike back to its original guise. Well maybe not the UK spec mud gaurd! Don’t like them ones prefer the shorter version. 🙂
