jap swede version of chopping. Not my cup of tea and although quite unusual in appearance I find it quite unimaginative in design. I really cannot get my head round his writing style

Hello Ankargren and welcome to our site.
The S models are quite rare and thw one you have is a great find. It looks to be in exceptional condition and hopefully will be maintenance only to get her back on the road. I wish you luck with your hunt for a rear mudguard and if I find one I will let you know.

Good day,
I started a complete frame off restoration on my 1979 Twin. I am building a café racer. I would like to know if there is anyone out there that has some experience in lacing wheels. I have two rims and 80 spokes in a box. The spoke configuration is as follows: 40 long, 20 medium and 20 short. I believe the rear wheel will utilizes 3 different size spokes. I believe the front wheel will have two different spokes. (inners and outers). I just need a little guidance as to what spokes go to what rim. Thanks in advance!

I have some in-experience lacing wheels. 😉 Tried it once. Did not enjoy it. Will not try again. Very similar to a round rubiks cube. Wishing you good luck is the best I can do.

Hi Hank,
have a look at this page:
https://www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-kz750b4-1979-usa-canadamph-kph_model15509/partslist/57911.html#resultsIt shows the different spokes and their position.
Pay attention to the angle of the spokes heads.
Cheers, Michael

New season for riding already started here, but I wanted to share with you a video I made last year. It was taken on Croatian coast, from Karlobag to Stari Grad. I used a cheap SJ Cam, which was mounted on the left mirror, that is why the video is a bit “shaky”, but the overall quality of the camera is surprisingly good for the price (around 70…[Read more]

A good allround site covering ALL Japanese bikes. They are, amongst other things, useful with helping to register imports. A £25 annual fee applies. They also hold several events throughout the course of the year.

As it’s title suggests this is a Kawasaki 4 stroke forum. It (as expected) is largely about the 4 cylinder models but there is a section for the 750 twins. I have not joined this forum so cannot comment (good or […]
