Hope I’m not too late and no harm has befallen you as you denied your body of oxygen, but I have found an idiot light cover.

It has all the coloured bits BUT it has been cut out badly around the ignition switch hole. I seem to recall that’s why I changed it. A big black washer will cover it though 🙂

I think I may have one here. When I get into the garage I’ll take a look and let you know.

Good to see a new name in here with their 750. As Phil said, don’t hesitate to ask any questions and requests for parts etc.
Look forward to seeing how your bike progresses and would be great to see you on it in the future when we all meet up sometime, as sometimes happens.

Glad you had a good day. I think the Brit bikes I rode of my dads, had an impact on me and is a reason I went for a twin when it came up.

Damn, if I’d known a few days earlier I could have been going. Made arrangements with the wife now to go to a classic vehicle show in Milton Keynes.

I have had several experienced riders try out my Z750 and all have come back with favourable comments. The vibrations as Phil pointed out aren’t horrendous and they pull really well in each gear even from low down revs in top.

This might not be the best place for an unbiased view though 😀

A big thank you to Norman for sending me a complete headlight which arrived today. 😀

I do have the headlight Phil dropped in for me which didn’t fit my earlier Z. Might fit the later one?

There is a halogen bulb available which fits the original light. It’s still not much better in wattage but maybe slightly brighter overall.

If so will it fit my B1 and how much is it?

As I just about destroyed the horribly rusted repro one on my bike I’m definitely in the market for another mudguard, if it’s chrome and fits that’ll do 🙂

I don’t suppose any of that is a front mudguard ?
