I’m a CSR owner here in the UK and mine is almost 100% original, i have the bits thats missing too!

Im after building a 2nd bike to use for my regular riding and want the CSR to be in show condition.

It does actually look alot worse on the pics though.

No i didnt replace mine with stainless steel. Many people are fooled into thinking stainless steel fixings are better than tensile steel. They are realy on better at corrosion resistance.

Replace your bolts with 12.9 high tensile screws. The originals were pobably 8.8 at the best.

It does work mate ive done it to mine using a NOS starter clutch assembly i bought from over the pond 😀 . Still fires up on the button now.

Nothing against Lonesome but its not good enough to rely on someone who doesnt speak to any of us and we cant get in touch with when there is a problem.

If we let this die the whole thing might die one day and we are completely powerless to do anything about it.
