Kaptainkwak replied to the topic 2 into 1 Exhaust System in the forum Bike Related Sales and Wants 11 months, 3 weeks ago
I am sorry but it did sell. I do have a Preditor 2 into 1 system available at the moment if interested? Good condition with no damage that i have seen. It currently needs a good clean and polish. £180 as it is or £250 cleaned and polished. I am also still doing the stainless steel systems but they are a bit dearer.
Let me know.
Cheers

I am really confused what is going on there. The starter clutch and generator do not have a brass spacer or a key of any description. It looks like for whatever reason a previous owner has somehow attempted to carry out a modification but to what and why? Looking at the pictures I feel the crank is still capable of locking the correct generator…[Read more]

Hi Nairb
Firstly we are here to help. There is NO woodruff key on the crank. The generator assembly simply locks itself on the taper of the crank. I am unsure exactly what you are looking at.
I have many spares here and i am sure i can help you out.
Is yours a B1 model? Was the exhaust original?
I have sent you my number in a PM.

Hi Marko and welcome back. Your twin is still looking great. I changed the handlebars on my CSR for the B type. Far more comfortable and easier to ride now.
BTW I’ve deleted 2 of the repeated posts above

Hi Bevan.
Long time no speak, welcome back. You’ve done a great job on your restoration, it looks amazing.
Re the petrol leak I have had the same problem. I have tried all sorts and not managed to fully solve the issue. It is fine on the centre stand so I am going to swap the bowl gaskets for genuine Kawasaki ones as soon as I can find some.

It is much cheaper and easier. You can give zinc a very light buff to shine if you want to.
I can supply starter clutch repair kits. I have a great relationship with Zpower so if I don’t have it here I can usually get it there. Just let me know.

Hi Nairb
Back in the day it was the trend to remove the grab rail and fit a rear carrier. Guess the grab rails got lost and binned.
You are right about the Stainless Steel ones. It is me that gets them made and I still do. I can also supply new starter clutch repair kits and most other parts you may need, I have sourced most things. Give me a…[Read more]

I believe they are zinc plated, including the chain adjusters which if you intend to restore is good for you as zinc plating is far cheaper than chroming.
