Good reminders there Tango. I need to sort my E111 and notify my insurance too.
Need to set my fone as well so it doesn’t cost me a fortune while away

Personally Marko I prefer with a grab rail. The only reason I haven’t got one on mine is because of my carrier.
Yes Michael I agree. A clean filter works wonders

Never been. It always seems to fall on a weekend I am busy and again this year

Those look ideal Marko. If you fit them over the top of the pillion seat as opposed to underneath then I do not feel you will need pannier rails as the seat will hold them apart. I have a grab rail I can probably spare if interested

Well done that man

I am not sure what else I can suggest now. Assuming everything has been checked for the obvious disconnection, broken wire etc it is a matter of going through the system and checking each component. I hope you don’t give in.

No I do not have any experience with the W650/800 pannier rails I am afraid. I have a rear carrier on my CSR with pannier rails built in. Very handy and useful and not bad looking either IMHO. Before I bought that I used panniers without rails and did not have any issues. That is soft panniers not rigid ones. Which type are you thinking of?

That is some trip Michael. Respect to you. My trip not only was shorter I was able to collapse my trailor and put it in my boot for part of the journey.
Do not apologise about the chainguard. I have several guards here including K and also have a B swinging arm too so should get some decent idea.
Have a safe trip buddy

Are you looking for a garb rail/sissy bar for George?

Michael replied to the topic Chain guard in the forum Technical Garage 11 years, 8 months ago
Now that is interesting Michael. I have a spare Chrome chainguard from a CSR if it does fit.

Well a few more knock backs for me. Front wheel bearings were knackered on the respoked wheels as the spacer had not been fitted. The left hand fork leg has jammed and the left caliper piston is leaking. Oh the joy lol. I am trying to find out if I can use a CSR caliper. It looks the same but the part nos are different so I am not sure yet.

I would guess not except without some modification and it would probably look odd as it is smaller. Tango has fitted a chainguard from a different bike that looks quite good. He will be along shortly no doubt.
