I’m in the Rock camp too, Led Zep, ZZ Top, Meatloaf, Bon Jovi (Sorry, saw them at MK Bowl though) and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Heard Quo playing in the background during one of KK’s calls, and remembered liking them too.
I also like a lot of other genres though, from 80’s synth bands (Kraftwerk, Gary Numan etc.) through Ska (Madness, Specials and…[Read more]

Here in Milton Keynes we have The Super Sausage cafe on the A5 towards Towcester which seems to have a bike meet on Sundays but has a big car park and welcomes bikers.
We have the Jacks Hill Cafe which has a few events each year and a monthly bike meet the first Friday of every month.

Electronic ignition will give a cleaner brighter spark which won’t change with wear. Points will wear on the cam, the tips burn slightly each time they make and break contact, eventually they will fail unless changed regularly. Contactless ignition has less moving parts to wear and arc out.

Rear tyre, old one was a BT45 but replaced it with a new Avon Road Rider.
Took the wheel out on Saturday and got a new BT45 fitted locally. Retested yesterday and passed so now on the road again. A little wary of fitting the front Avon tyre so may just get another BT45 fitted to it.I now dislike Avon tyres 🙁

Latest is bad news unfortunately. I fitted a new tyre a couple of months ago which was bought over a year ago now. Bike failed an MOT yesterday on that tyre having cracks deep in the tread, and it has done 2 miles to the MOT station since fitting and was stored nicely before being fitted.:-(
Now have to get the wheel out again, this time I’m…[Read more]

That is just fantastic Michael. I love the idea that someone sees you going one way on a green bike and returning on a black one. 😎

Once the Twin is back in action (warmer weather etc.) I’ll take a run up and see if I can catch up with him.
