Thats a B4 import and doesnt generally look in bad shape apart from the seat. I dont need another twin in my fleet but i am wanting some parts. Depending on price i might be interested. If you decide to break it let me know.
Does it run? Is it UK registered? How much are you wanting for it?
Cheers

Hello everyone
I am sure you will have noticed quite a number of changes to the website over the last few weeks.
I have been trying to get the website into a much more attractive, friendly and easy to use format for a few years now. I have limited knowledge of doing this and have been offered help from more knowledgeable people but have been let…[Read more]

It was a great day out Tango and Thank You for sharing your pictures.
It started off as an attempt to break the UK record of 5-750 twins in the same place. We were on course for 6 but sadly 2 had to pull out so 4 of us turned up, Tango, Magpie, Trevorbuster and Kaptainkwak’ Lonesome did turn up but unfortunately he had to come in his car.

AN AMMENDMENT TO THIS POST CAN BE SEEN A FEW POSTS DOWN
Production begins in September? WOW that is fast ha ha (I have confirmed he meant November)
So as we may know the 4 centre studs are not enclosed and therefore prone to corrosion and build up of road muck which in turn makes the barrels very difficult to remove. – None corroding bolts -…[Read more]

Hello Ownthesky
This is a great thread. I really love seeing how enthusiastic people can get when starting a project of this magnitude. The bike didn’t look as bad as it is turning out to be.
I am very impressed with the kick start mod. Did you make the pin yourself? And those carbs!!! I agree they are horrendous. Have you cleaned it all with…[Read more]

Hi Edmund
Long time no speak.
It’s a shame you’ve decided to sell your G. I know you have put quite a bit into her so some lucky punter should get a good bike.
Anyway keep in touch

Hi Richard and welcome to the site.
The picture is not the bike I thought it was but it does look a pretty good place to start a restoration.
Please feel free to browse the site and ask away with any questions.
It will be great to see your restoration as it happens so keep us updated.
Cheers

Hi Airedale
It is a bit of an issue here in the UK as they are not aware of the various models around.
I am insured with Carole Nash and they do recognise the B1. My CSR is also down as a B1 though ha ha.
I was previously with bennets and I think they recognised the B1 as well.
Hope this helps

Now that is weird.
I can only guess it has something to do with the additives in the fuel. Fingers crossed it is cured now.
