no more hibernating now 😀
I’m just coming-out of hibernation although i was able to take the bike for a spin every week or so during the winter. That was a relief in that the bike didn’t just sit there welding itself to the bitumen 😀 As you might have guessed, I have to leave my kawa outdoors all year long as I don’t have covered parking.
Thats good to hear. I was afraid they might develop cracks or some other malady but tyres on autos do seem to fair well enough outdoors over the winter.

Bike was in pretty good shape when I had it handed down to me from a relative with a heart of gold. At first I thought it was not very well maintained but the more I researched and studied, the more I saw that the bike was indeed in good shape for a beast of its age (32 yrs)
I have since had the seat recovered but not much else. It is not concours condition but I’m partial to the “ridden” look as opposed to the “garage queen” look 🙂
Thank you for the welcome. I Will post some pics up right away. I’m not shy when it comes to that 😉
And yes, I’ve met Michael (in the virtual world 😉 and am glad that I had the good fortune to meet him and others on the companion site. I learned a lot there * have much more to learn about the twin.
Anyway, will post pics then read around the forum some more.
