Yep, my original was nicely spaced all around. The new one looks kind of lopsided. I’m going to try and get some measurements once I get relegated to the garage by the weather.

I’m on a CB450/500 group there and the word is spreading fast. There’s a bit of confusion about where to go, how to finance, etc. There’s been an offer to join Hondatwins.net, but they declined to add a subsection for the 450/500 folks. I’m already a regular on the twins site so I’m familiar with the layout, but it would be nice to keep a 450/500 only area.

No problem! If you should ever make it this deep and this rural I’ll buy the first five! 😀

Got them yesterday – what do I need to send you?. Pretty nice of you to send them. One is going on my toolbox and I think the other will get laminated to a wood plank so i can hang it on the garage wall. Again, I thank you very much.

What do the stickers look like? Would you consider sending them across the pond? I’d like to slap one on my toolbox to go with the rest.

The Suzie GS line is nearly bulletproof, except for the electrics. They are known for burning up stators and regulator/rectifiers. The stock items are pretty weak. If you find yourself in need, be sure to use the Electrex replacements. Sturdy and cheaper than stock. The problem is well documented on the GS Resources site. If you pick this up, that’s a good site to hang around

Thanks, but the present ignition switch is good. I’d just like to have a spare key given my tendency to lose things. 😀

    It’s a B3 and the key is 908.

I’ve had the (K)Z for about 5 years now. The pic is from the previous owner. I’ve replaced the tank, tail, seat, both side covers, one frame cover, chain guard, and most of the visible rubber bits with NOS parts. Unfortunately, I neglected the carbs, so they’ve been sent out to Wired George for a rebuild. As soon as I get them back, I’ll get a new pic or two.

The T has been around for 8 years now. She’s bone stock and in very nice shape. I need to get some better pics of her too. One thing I think is cool – it still has the original dealer badges on the side covers. I’m not a fan of keeping those on except for the fact that it was sold by Penton Brothers Honda. As an old MX/enduro fan, I’ve always liked the Pentons and their part in developing both bikes and sport in the US. The badges are pretty cool looking and add to the bike, IMHO.
