I am liking this rename of your bike Michael.
Should we have a renaming ceremony at the meeting in Belgium and make it official? I have the Music 😀

That is true Michael but I have not seen that axle arrangement on a B model. It is the clamping style and may well fit but I doubt very much that it is the correct axle.

That’s a great spot Philpass I hope your right. One thing for sure is it isn’t a 750 twin wheel. 750 twins only have 4 bolt holes for the discs and I have not seen an axle like that before.

Totally agree there Michael. The 2 pole switches are obviously straight forward and the 6 pole have a more dedicated circuits whereas the 4 pole have some circuits combined. It is not always as simple as bridge wires it also depends what bridging is done inside the switch. There are quite a few different configurations of these and finding the…[Read more]

Here we go Marko
The guard we have received is slightly different to the original so I have made a slightly different bracket to allow for it.
The first picture is for making the bracket and the second picture is for positioning it. Please ask if there is anything you do not understand.

Cracking pictures Marko. Looks like you had a great time and George looks happy even though a little shy 😆 thanks for sharing them with us. The bracket should be quite simple to make and fit so you 2 can be reunited again. If you need a sketch I can do one for you

Now that would be good Michael. It is such a shame we live so far apart as I am sure we would get out quite often if we were nearer but you never know . . .

Spent another couple of hours tinkering in the garage tonight doing those odd bits. I’m nearly there now apart from a bit of cleaning. Hoping to do a biggish ride with Tango on Saturday. Anyone else fancy joining in?

Looks pretty good Tango I am quite impressed and a nice bit of editing too. You could have picked a better route though, that’s the way I go to work grrr!!!

The bracket should run down the groove in the rubber and should be folded on both edges to stop it bending. I would suggest 1mm thick material or 1.5mm if you can bend it.

I think I have a spare one in my garage you can borrow 😆
Had a chat last night n my feelings are you have an issue with your back end (have you seen the size of him?). Philpass as you told me last night each direction so far has been a cul de sac for you. Decide which path to follow starting with swinging arm. Once you have decided this we…[Read more]

EEEEEEEEEEKKKK!
I’m in the same position with my CSR. Mechanically it is sound and the cosmetic side is ok but the finishing will be done properly after I have proved her when we go to Belgium. I’ve not to much to do now. Fit rear light bracket. Make a couple of exhaust brackets. New fuel pipes. New carb clamps and a good clean n polish. I’ve…[Read more]

I’ve a swinging arm here that the bracket has departed from it because of rust. They can also get caught and bent so another thing to be careful of.

Well done Tango 😉 .
Looks god to me. My guess would be 5 hours max but then again we aren’t tied down to time. Bastogne does seem to be quite an attractive little town.
