Went down to the garage today but didn’t work on the bike, I tidied up. I did notice a slight weep on the brake master cylinder though 🙁

Took her down this morning and SHE PASSED!!!!!

Passed with flying colours. He loved the clutch conversion and it works excellent. Both front and rear brakes are well above the standard required so all is happy days with the Kaptain’s fleet.

Now is the time to make her look pretty 😀

That is what I thought Dougyt. Both wires give a reading of just under 12V when measured to the battery negative. We get minimal resistance on the coil (0.03) so I am feeling one of the wires is wrongly connected and may have damaged the field coil.

One big thing to note is it does have original exhausts. They are very rare especially in the UK

To me that one is a buyer if your after one. The missing parts can be got (may need restoring) but it is very original. They are also offering the help and advice on registering in the UK.

I have run through a few more tests with Tango. I am guessing his Field (Exciter) coil/circuit has a fault. Setting the meter to a 2 ohm range we get a reading of 0.03 on each wire. The book tells me this should be 2.7 to 3.4 ohms so I feel this is where the problem lies.

😆 Surprisingly managed to get a spell in the garage today. Hydraulic Clutch is now working on a non running engine. Hopefully it is fine when I fire her up.

Gonna try n get exhaust on tomorrow then its tank n seat and MOT. Ive got my fingers crossed for that one.
