This is my solution to the mainstand pivot which someone  had sawn off because it was seized. Made a new pivot shaft out of stainless steel. it pivots on the needle roller bearings which are clamped to the frame in the original clamps.

This is not the only resto I’m into, I have another unloved model the Honda VT250F for which spares are even harder than to find the Z750, also have a SD900 Ducati Darmah which Ive owned for 41 years

Back on the road to begin with  complicated by it being a bike belonging to a dead man and having no documentation not even a regno, on the IOM there is a strict test to pass, eventuall  then full resto
